  1. Thank you Jaleah! I’m still really struggling! In the video, the reds from the other types looked exactly like the pieces you were holding them up to, to me. Maybe it’s the video quality or my monitor, but yipes, they looked exactly the same!

    1. All monitors show color a bit different. The T4 color in the end does look quite similar in the video.(In real life it is a big difference, but reds are hard for cameras to capture)

  2. Great tips! I also had trouble seeing the difference between t1 and the non t1 reds in the video. The closeup of the t3 helped but the last example looked exactly the same.

    1. The T4 and T1 are different, but the video guys couldn’t get the color quite right. So you have to look super close!

  3. Love seeing you T1 cuties! You look great in your reds! I’m sad this video didn’t show the differences as well as I had hoped, since red is my trouble color. Jaleah’s top was crazy cute too!

  4. I agree it’s difficult to tell the difference between the T1 and T4 red onscreen. However what works for me is noticing whether the red is so bold and saturated (think neon) that you feel like you need sunglasses to look at it! Another simple trick is holding it to my face, if it’s a T4 red, I look washed out and just fade away into the background. My difficulty is more with burgundy. I’m a T1/4 and I love wearing darker tints in the winter. I have burgundy jeans and a beautiful burgundy leather jacket, but am worried I may have strayed into T3 shades…..aargh! Please can you do a video on darker tints?! Thank you 🙂

  5. I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t see the difference in the reds. I wanted to go shopping today but I don’t have the color card yet (tracking says it won’t be here until Wednesday) and I’m so worried I won’t get it right. Maybe I’ll just stick to blues until then (loll.
