  1. As an over 70, I sometimes feel like the forgotten woman in DYT. This had many tips that I needed to rehear. I’ve heard and seen so many different ideas about makeup over the years, and sometimes it is easy to just stay in a rut. Thank you for giving us older beauties some up to date information. Loved it. I’ll be using this for a big date on Saturday!

    1. Glad you found this video helpful. I am grateful that I am 60 so I can always represent what is possible for more mature beauties! Believe me you are not forgotten, you just have more options than the current beauty ageism advice supports you in making. Chose what you feel is correct for you to express your Type’s beauty free of any age references. I do what is correct for me and never ask myself the question – Am I too old for this? Rather, I ask myself the question – Do I feel and look good in this?

      1. Love, love, love this comment and characteristic of DYT. I haven’t thought about age and ‘can I wear this at my age?’ since I began DYT many years ago. Thanks and God bless <3

      1. Thanks, Carol. I love wearing make up, but do get swept up in what the “beauty experts” say about over 60’s. A short anecdote. I was texting with a friend the other day and sent her a before a hair cut photo (I was dressing my Type 4 truth). She text back “Wow. You look like a movie star!” Thanks for all you do to support our growth as women.

    1. Thanks Sue, since I am 60 I make sure that most of our content is applicable to all ages for each Type. As I have let go of ageism stereotypes I have embraced style options and makeup that I otherwise would have thought were not appropriate for more “mature” women. As you look at it without the age related lens it is amazing how many new options you open yourself up to.

  2. Which colours did Anna K use on the eyes and where? I own the T1 palette and I’d love to copy this colour combo exactly.

  3. I’m so delighted we wise women can put some sparkle on our faces! I need a little more courage when it comes to using colors that are not in the “natural” palette – such as this lovely mermaid green I got from DYT a while back. Thank you Anna K, and bravissima Marcy for inspiring us all!
