  1. Thank you for making this Anne. I do procrastinate packing. I have a hard time deciding which ones to bring, which to leave behind and just the right amount. I love your concept of bringing your favorites. It helps me to have a packing list to keep on the desktop of my computer. I can edit it and print it each trip. I always love packing ideas and I’ll enjoy watching this video many more times.

    1. Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Do you have any fun trips planned this Summer?

  2. I get sooo overwhelmed with all the details on what to pack for a vacation. I want to look put together and feel comfy too and I always pack way too many things. Thanks for the tips! I’m going to try it your way next time!

  3. I looooved this video! I love anything like this or the 8 piece-8 outfit videos, because right now my wardrobe is small, so I like seeing how things can work together. Also, I always envision myself wearing glamorous things on my vacations, and then I end up wearing the same three comfy things over and over again, lol.

  4. Loved seeing the pics of you wearing some of the outfits while you were traveling. I liked your idea of only taking a carry on. Would love to see videos showing how each type packs their bags for a trip, kind of like the ones you did that showed what each type had in their purse.

    1. I guess I posed this one day too early as I see you have the how each type packs their bags on the site today.

  5. I did a similar thing for our beach trip. I took about the same number of shirts, a cardigan and a camp shirt to layer, my grey jeans, two pairs of Bermuda shorts, and a skirt, also a couple of flowy dresses for dinner. Since I am newer to DYT, I made notes on my Kindle with possible combinations complete with shoes and accessories. My daughter laughed when she discovered my notes, but I felt very prepared, and ended up wearing everything, although not every possible combination.

    1. Notes are the best! Haha. It seems to be something we are naturally drawn to as T2’s – as other women have commented they do the same too!

  6. Ooh, I’m LOVING your patterned tees! Seeing the outfits as actually worn in the travel photos was very helpful. I do the list thing, too! I write down each item as it gets packed, and when returning home, mark off what didn’t work well or get used. Next time I pull out my suitcase, that list is right there!

  7. You are welcome! Ireland! What fun! I traveled to Dingle, Ireland 11 years ago. It’s a beautiful place. What part were you in?

  8. Great tips Anne! Yes, I am always looking for the perfect combo too. I would be curious about the different trip tips. Packing for the beach is where I pack too much. Happy Summer!

  9. I’m so trying this next time i have a trip to go on!! Just pack my favourites…oh man that makes it sound so much less complicated!! anne I love your style…so simple yet beautiful and not too expensive!!

  10. I’ve traveled all over the world and spend a MONTH planning my wardrobe, LOL…I have it all written down with checklists to make sure I don’t forget anything. My husband doesn’t think about it until the night before. Thank you so much for this video. Most of my travel requires more dressier clothing, lots of meetings and dinners, but since finally figuring out my type and secondary, buying and planning is SO much easier. I am so grateful for DYT!
