  1. What a lovely surprise for Monday morning! Thanks Deborah for your 4/3 insights, it was really clear how the added yang perfected Deborah’s type 4 look. I used to wear tartan but I made the mistake of having blended colours. Now I know to choose clean, contrasted tartan colours to look better.

  2. THIS! I recently viewed an older video about layering and the tip about T4 using the heavier layer on top also fits with why the jacket works with the plain top and the sweater over the plaid. The material of the white jacket certainly seems heavy and substantial. The solid white over the plaid shirt is “heavier” on the eye. Voila. Now I’ve really got it understanding my 4/3 Yin, triple Yang! Thanks Carol and Deborah!

  3. I’ve been waiting for this video! I hadn’t thought about plaid being yang but it makes sense that I have a whole section of my closet dedicated to plaid. I love the edgy white jacket with the zippers as well. I have a similar cardigan in black and I prefer it with patterns underneath also. Thanks for the great video!

  4. Excellent T4S3 visual. Thank you, I’ve been trying to incorporate more of my secondary into my wardrobe and hair style. I’ve chosen the cut I’ll be getting at my next appointment, but I’m still working on my wardrobe. I’ve always been drawn to leather and traditional red and black buffalo plaid. Seeing how the white leather moto jacket transformed Deborah’s outfit from “meh” to “wowza”was very enlightening. I love the color of the cardigan but I prefer a more structured, vintage inspired, button down V neck. Please keep these wonderful videos coming. I love them.

    1. I love that sort of cardigan too! I can’t bear the floaty waterfall or open cardigans with no fastenings. I buy mine from a site called Beyond Retro but it’s UK only so I’m not sure they would send things to America? They might. (I’m assuming you’re American)

  5. I’ve always been drawn to plaids and am a 3/4. This video was very helpful and will try these tricks in a Type 3 colors.
