During a US Presidential election year, politicians are on our minds more than other years.
Since Energy Profiling is a way to understand human nature from a deeper level, it’s interesting to know the Energy Type of political leaders.
In the Lifestyle Facebook group, I recently invited the members to share any political leaders that they would like me to Type. I ended up profiling more than half of the current United States governors.
What was interesting was I saw a trend in the breakdown that really surprised me. Since I wanted to see if that same trend was true for the entire list of governors, I went ahead and profiled all 50 of them. And, to my surprise, the trend stuck!
Look at the list and see if you notice the trend that I saw in the breakdown.
Also, take a moment and guess your governor’s Energy Type before you find them on the list!

Did you see the trend that I saw?
Here is a breakdown of how many governors of each Type there are.
Type 1 – 26
Type 2 – 10
Type 3 – 9
Type 4 – 5
Did it surprise you that most governors were Type 1 and the least Type 4? I would have thought the opposite in the most to least! It shows us that any Type can pursue leadership roles.
Since I do not personally know any of the governors, I profiled them all based on their facial features. I am familiar with a few of them, yet I did not let their media personality and my pre-conceived political opinions sway what I saw.
I really appreciate what Lifestyle member Nenah shared in her comment about this trend: “I think the post gave us more insight not to be so narrowed in our knowledge of how to perceive Types.”
With only 9 female governors, this trend did not surprise me that most were Type 3.
Of the women governors:
Type 1 – 2
Type 2 – 0
Type 3 – 5
Type 4 – 2
