Tendencies That Cause Each Type to Gain Weight: Lifestyle Coaching Call

How Has 2020 Affected Your Weight?

What is one thing you want to do to be healthier in the coming year?

The circumstances of 2020 have impacted us all energetically. Let’s take a look at how the energy of 2020 has affected our weight!

In this recording of our Lifestyle Coaching Call, you’ll discover things about yourself that you hadn’t considered but will totally make sense once you hear it. You will immediately have the insights you need to make healthy changes with food.

(5:08) But first, let’s hear a success story, and (6:35) two of our most recent #TruthBomb participants. I’ll show you what I see to help refine your Face Profiling skills. (To learn more watch this special coaching call)

Tendencies that cause each Type to gain weight

  • (14:10) Type 1, what is it that weighs you down?
  • (17:50) Type 2, how are you trying to comfort and protect yourself?
  • (19:56) Type 3, are you feeling restricted or stifled?
  • (22:21) Type 4, are your all-or-nothing tendencies being triggered by feeling off-track?

Your awareness of these Type tendencies can help you make changes right now and into the new year.

Some of the questions I answered are:

  • (28:57) I’m a Type 3 and I’ve found that through menopause I’ve gained weight much more easily, and releasing extra weight doesn’t happen quickly. My current job doesn’t allow for a lunch break, so when I finish my workday I am FAMISHED and then find myself grabbing quick, typically unhealthy options just to quickly knock out the hunger. I know I can plan snacks, but just often find that to be too much trouble.
  • (30:54) I have a LOT of dietary restrictions due to health. As a Type 1 it’s been very difficult to have the “fun” taken out of food. I know that food is primarily fuel, but I struggle to balance this with staying motivated on my health journey.
  • (34:07) I injured myself pretty severely almost 5 years ago and now can only handle minimal exercise without resulting pain. In the process of healing, I’ve developed some pretty awful eating habits. How can I get back on track without feeling “less than” because I can’t do the same things I enjoyed before (kickboxing, HIIT, heavyweights)?
  • (35:47) Since learning about DYT about 4 years ago I’d thought I was a Type 2 and have been wearing that Type of clothes, but I recently learned that I’m a Type 4. I have held onto an extra 90 pounds for years. I eat healthfully and limit sugar but still hold the weight. Do you think now that I am getting clearer on my correct type that it will be easier to release the extra weight?
  • (42:22)  I’m a Type 2. How do I keep from getting overwhelmed by all the details of which diet to follow, food choices, and planning? I usually just give up and eat whatever is convenient or familiar.
  • (45:57) Isn’t the weight loss course always available in The Healing Center? What does Carol mean that it’s starting on Jan. 18th?

2020 has been a year of looking within and reflecting. Let’s end with more insight and empowerment when it comes to our health. What changes will you make? Share in a comment!
