A Complete List of Keywords for Your Fun-Loving Type 1 Energy

Do you resonate with these light and bright Type 1 keywords?

Words are powerful. They have meaning and references that are either positive, negative, or neutral. In the world of Energy Profiling, words also represent a quality of movement, an expression of our true selves.

We come into this world expressing one of four primary movements, or Energy Types, and how our parents and others respond to us with their words will determine whether we love our true nature or are led to believe we need to change it.

As a young child, I was led to believe my energy and movement were too much, too loud, too aggressive, even defiant. Each of those words, too loud, aggressive, and defiant all had shaming references and created the belief that I needed to change who I was. Since learning and living true to my Energy Type, I now have been able to change the shaming labels to positive labels: too loud = passionate, aggressive = assertive, defiant = determined.

How your Type 1 keywords can help you heal

The primary keywords for a Type 1 person are upward and light, which refers to your natural expression of lifting and lighting up the energy wherever you go.

It’s common for Type 1’s to be told in their childhood and even into their adult years, “You are too silly, you need to settle down, you need to be more serious.”

But I want Type 1 women to see what this really means: silly = playful and animated, settle down = eager to learn and explore this world, more serious = you have a natural hope.

In my book, It’s Just My Nature, I included a Word Portrait for each Energy Type. It was important for me to put together this list, so you could also heal the shame-based references you took on as a child.

As I teach in It’s Just My Nature, if you’re still not certain about your Energy Type, reflect on the Word Portraits for each Type. If you feel a certain Energy Type speaking to you, yet your Body Profile does not match the other aspects of the dominant Energy Type you think you are, look for similar words on the Word Portrait sheet that matches your Body Profile.

Our bodies consistently express our dominant Energy Type when our personalities may vary from this expression. I say, go with what your body tells you, rather than your personality. As you trust this and allow yourself to be the Energy Type your body tells you that you are, you will see qualities emerge that are truly you, qualities that you actually expressed earlier in your life.
