I would choose your favorite smile, tilt your head so its away from the camera and to the side, so your jaw line is smoothed and straightened by the effect of the tilt. And I’d focus your eyes on the camera dot on the phone. Hope this helps!

Thanks, this was great! Now, if only my iPad weren’t so big–it really gets in the way! And my digital camera flashes, so that’s all I see when taking a mirror selfie… Suggestions?

FYI…you may need to go into your camera settings to make the volume key the camera key instead of the zoom key. I had to make that change on my Samsung Galaxy 4 phone.
