Are you feeling uninspired or bored with your hair? Is your hairstyle not quite right?
How you feel about your hair affects your entire day.
In this recording of our Live Lifestyle Coaching Call, I’m joined by 2 guests from our Lifestyle community. You’ll learn from their experiences as I help them cut through emotional layers they’re struggling with to find a hairstyle they love. I’ll share tips and recommend products so you can create the hair experience you want. And not just one time, but every time!
(5:38) But first, let’s review a success story (6:02) and two of our most recent #TruthBomb participants. I’ll show you what I see to help refine your Face Profiling skills. (To learn more watch my Face Profiling Crash Course
Now let’s meet our guests and hear where they’re challenged with their hairstyle:
(13:16) Cyndi, Type 1 “My hair bothers me because I don’t know how to style longer hair besides flat ironing it. But that style is too low a movement for me. I have a bend in my hair, but not enough to be called a wave.”
Recommended products for Cyndi’s hair:
- Weightless Styling Mousse will offer maximum volume and light hold.
- Tousled Spray will help give separation to the ends of the hair and offer flexible hold.
- Texture Spray will add a va-va-voom effect and keep the hair lifted mid-shaft to the ends.
- Finishing Spritz will hold the finished look and can be used to piece out more sections to add dimension.
(26:28) Denise, Type 3 “Since going through menopause, my texture has changed and it has become curly! I am hoping to gain some sense of what would be the best color and cut for my shape face and type… I am a low-maintenance person who doesn’t like to mess with my hair!”
Recommended products for Denise’s hair:
- Texture Taffy will maximize natural texture, allowing it to be separated and molded.
- Weightless Styling Mousse will offer maximum volume and light hold.
- Texture Spray will add a va-va-voom effect and keep the hair lifted mid-shaft to the ends.
Some of the questions I answered are:
- (41:03) I’m 78 and my hair is grey/white. It’s very very fine. I’m a Type 1, and it’s really hard for me to create any movement to my hair because it’s so very baby fine. No curls whatsoever. How can I get movement?
- (42:50) As a Type 1 I can see all the fun options, how do I narrow down the hairstyles that would be best for me?
- (43:45) How can I wear a Type 1/2 curly style without it becoming too big and yangy (leaning more s3?) Is growing to a longer length the answer?
