  1. I love that you shared so many shades of gray! I also appreciated seeing that Type 2 can wear a bit of sparkle to liven up an outfit! Thanks for all of your great videos, Anne!

  2. And what if you are a T2 and hate all 500 shades of gray (and silver) and look horrible in them? I am a T2 but gray is definitely NOT my color!

      1. Well yes, I can. But Carol’s whole concept is that if I am a T2, I look best in T2 colors (and metals too), and guess what? I don’t.

          1. Hmmm, do you know what your Secondary is?
When I first started DYT, I didn’t like a lot of the flowery, fussy, scarf-heavy outfits that I saw as examples of Type 2 style. But once I realized that my Secondary is a Type 1, that made more sense to me. Buuuutttt …… I love the colors, and I’ve always loved soft grays, so I don’t have any insight on the color issue.
Maybe we need Carol Tuttle’s help on this one? πŸ™‚

  3. Great video, Anne – again πŸ™‚ As a T2, even before I ever knew about DYT, even as a child – I knew black was not for me. It didn’t feel right and it certainly didn’t look right. As an adult I was ‘supposed’ to like and wear black – especially living so close to NYC. But stayed true to what felt right on me – and that was neutrals of navy and grey instead of black. I LOVE grey and am always amazed how such a ‘dull’ color, so maligned in the fashion world lol, really brought my own coloring to life. I do wear alot of grey shades all year long, moving to the lighter ones in warm weather. There’s a Dove Grey I love in summer. And it’s so fun to play with other colors with grey in the different seasons. I loved the grey chart you showed in this video – that would be AWESOME!! to be able to purchase. It would be fun to hold a card like that up to various other T2 colors to play and create new combinations. One summer I did a Dove Grey with a soft T2 yellow and it was so pretty. Thanks again, Anne, for another wonderful video. <3

  4. Anne, do you recall the eyeshadow you wore for this video? I assume it’s a combination of gray shadows. ☺️ Your eyes look so beautiful! Thank you.
