  1. I actually had more stripes in my closet than I expected. I even have a stripped shirt that I colored because it was not origionally t3 color and it ended up being the right color just a bit too blended. I didn’t realize why until this video so thank you.
The first is the one I don’t really wear and the video helped me to know why. Yes it’s t3 color but it’s low contrast and I think I like the color, angles on the neck and the rich brown buttons with a dynamic swirl in them.
The second is probably my most favorite. It’s a dyt plaid jacket/shirt. I love it because It’s actually a plaid design but the texture and design give it a stripe feel.
The green is my textured, layered t. It has layers of different texures with stripes and angled stripe designs.
The next is honestly my more structured t3 stripe. The stripes are three different sizes. with the arms just slightly angled. I usually wear this one for more business type things or if I need to feel a little more structured from my 3/1 self. (trust me it’s not often at all)
The next is my active reactive hint of stripes with angled design. It’s rich and dynamic and a head turning dress.
The last is a medium/low textured with angled swift movements here and there. Also not very often worn but it has a texture I love and is a substantial material.

  2. Great video! I too discovered more stripes in my closet than I expected — many of the variations you noted.

    1. This is an hombre type pattern that creates a stripe effect, it also has vertical stripes blended into the pattern.
    2. This is a solid color with the stripes created with the change in weave of the sweater.
3 and 4. Both of these are low/medium contrast stripes blended with a pattern. They actually have a T2 feel to me, but they work with the T3 colors, so I leave in my closet since I believe I’m an s2.
    5. This one is a very low contrast peach/cream stripe. The belt creates the horizontal break up of the basic subtly vertical stripes.
    6. This is a fun T with a variety of bold colored stripes created with the patterns. This is my favorite shirt to wear with my denim vest.
    7. This dark red is a solid color with a bit of a tie die effect. The stripes are created with the angled panels, stitching and added sequins.
    8. This last one is a great example of the panels that include both vertical and horizontal stripes in the same pattern.

As a relatively new student of DYT — these videos really help to validate that my “eye” for T3 is getting tuned appropriately. Thanks!
