You see me all dressed up on camera—but what does Dressing Your Truth look like in my everyday life? I’ll show you! I kept track of all my outfits for a week to make an OOTD Journal (Outfit of The Day). Take a look at my week!
Monday:
Today I had the pleasure of going to the Carol Live event in Denver! I love these events. The atmosphere is so amazing. People come to improve themselves, and positivity is high in the air! For this event I wore one of my most favorite dresses: the Pink Posy Dress. I receive great compliments when I wear this dress. It is beautiful! And the best part? I feel amazing in it! 🙂 I paired it with some navy wedges and our Hummingbird Necklace.
Tuesday:
Today I was traveling, so I wanted to be really comfortable on the plane! I wore a red hoodie from Disneyland, Type 1 Bright Night Pants, and this awesome Zephyr Top. I love this white top because it has a fun design and bling. It takes an average casual outfit and adds some pizazz!
Wednesday:
Today was one of those days where I was like, “Hmmm…I want to try an outfit I haven’t put together before.” So I paired this Popping Flowers Top with a green cardigan I bought from the DYT Store years ago. I wasn’t so sure about this outfit before I put it on, but now that I have seen it in pics, I really like it!
Thursday:
I love dresses—they are just so comfy and cute! I found this dress at a boutique in the mall. I love the t-shirt style dresses. I think I have like 10 of them…not exaggerating. This navy striped dress is one of my favorites right now because the darker tints work really well in the fall weather! I simply styled it with the Drip Drop Necklace. I really like this look because it’s simple, yet fun and flirty!
Friday:
Today we did a #CarolTuttleTV #LiveMakeover. I LOVE these days! WOW, the energy that fills the Dressing Your Truth atmosphere is magical. All the people viewing online and in the store have front row seats to see a life transform. Today I wore this amazing Daisy Vine Top with a yellow cardigan and these Starburst Pants. I received a ton of compliments on the outfit. But the best part was, I felt awesome!
Saturday:
Today was a fun day with family and friends! We spent the morning and afternoon in the mountains, so I wore this lovely polka dot sweater dress. It is a good, thick material, so I was nice and warm all day long. Plus, it’s cute to boot! At night, we went to our school’s football game, and it was the perfect transition piece! Wear it during the day in a cold mountain, and then on a cool night in the valley!
Sunday:
We had another gorgeous day in Utah today, with temperatures in the 80s again! So I went to church in ANOTHER favorite t-shirt dress! I found this one at the same mall boutique as the dress I wore on Thursday. What I really like about this dress is how fun and sassy I feel in it. The light material is perfect for the warm weather, and the pattern is so adorable.
I hope you enjoyed seeing a peek inside my week! No matter what you have on your calendar, you can confidently Dress Your Truth! Now I want to see your #OOTD—so go ahead and share it in the comments below!

This post is so much fun Jaleah, you look great everyday. Thanks for sharing yourself!
Hey!! Thanks!!!
Thanks, Jaleah! I love that flowered blue top and the yellow cardigan and the cool white top. It is always uplifting to see your smile and the light way you put together outfits. Plus, I am hoping that we get some more misses sizes and styles in more items. Thanks for all of your work and upliftment <3
Fab!!,
Thanks Jaleah, you look 1derful as usual 🙂
Okay Jaleah, you are so cute! It’s funny how you got photo-bombed by Kalista on ur Wednesday pic. And I loved how you and Anne shared the same pic on Saturday. 😉
Anyway, just had to see your OOTD post as your posts are so uplifting.
Thank you!!
Love the tee shirt dresses! I want some!
I’m from Utah, too, and would love to know the name of the mall boutique????
It was in the South Town mall in Sandy. Don’t remember the name, but it was on the bottom floor outside of Macy’s on the right side!
I loved all of these examples. But I’m still feeling confused on some points with the darker tints looking like type 4 colors. For example, the navy and white striped tee shirt dress. How is that more of a type 1 than 4? Could the colors in that dress work for both types but the level of contrast and the style of dress are what make it more of a type 1?
I think navy is one of those things where if it feels good on, then you’re golden! Some navy’s transfer over, sure. So it’s just what feels awesome on you! Then you know you are in the right zone!
Cute and stylish as always! I love to see the outfits put together. It gives me ideas!
Jaleah, I love all the outfits and seeing how you put things together. I bought the navy polka dotted sweater dress after seeing it on you!!! I really love it. I also bought navy leggings to go with it after seeing your leggings video. You finally have convinced me to give them a try. Thanks for the fun inspiration!!!!
