How to Love Your Hair and Get a Style that’s Best for You: Lifestyle Coaching Call

What emotions and beliefs are holding you back from loving your hair?

Are You Loving Your Hair – Or Not?

In this recording of our Live Lifestyle Coaching Call, learn from my two guests, one who used to hate her hair, and now she loves it, and one who is still struggling and needs my help. I help her understand what’s holding her back from having the hairstyles she loves and the best products to support her. We also talk about how to talk to your hair to create a more harmonious and collaborative relationship with it.

Plus, (55:07) our Curly Hair Expert, Anne Tuttle Brown will be joining to help you during the live Q&A to share her expert tips on our DYT hair care line.

Remember, the foundational pieces for hair and hairstyle for your Type and Secondary can be found in your Beginner’s Guide course and the Yin/Yang hair videos.

(11:60) But first, let’s review a DYT hair success story, and two of our most recent #TruthBomb participants. I’ll show you what I see to help refine your Face Profiling skills. (To learn more watch this special coaching call)

Now, let’s meet our guests (and see three other Lifestyle members who are loving their hair too!):

(19:47) Guest – Kellie, Type 4. “The biggest takeaways from my hair journey are trusting myself and trusting myself enough to keep looking for a stylist who will work with me to create what I want.”

(30:47) Colleen, Type 3. “DYT forever changed my hair experience! I went from fighting my natural texture to having the BEST and easiest hair of my life!!! DYT hair products are all I use and it’s been so supportive to combine my 3/4 keywords!”

(31:44) Jeimy, Type 2. “Having so much fun with my hair and the DYT hair products. Type 2/3. It definitely feels better adding some volume to it.”

(32:07) Heatherlynn, Type 1. “This Type 1 loves her hair now. DYT & the Healing Center helped me to ask my hair what it wanted & journal. I never would have thought that I would grow my hair out to its natural, dye-free gray….have a short hair cut or wear it off of my face.”

(41:15) Guest – Lori, Type 3. “When I retired just over a year ago I decided to see what the waves looked like, and I’ve loved them and the volume they give me. I think at heart I’m a 1970’s boho-look wild-curly girl.

Some of the questions I answered are:

  • (33:08) How does the texture and quality of our hair reflect our energy type, or does it? My hair has a mind of its own.
  • (37:30) I cut my hair and it’s really changed what seems to work for me in terms of clothes — certain items just don’t work anymore.  I would love to know what this is about. Does it have to do with not identifying the correct secondary type?
  • (39:45) Does color affect the perception of facial features or type? I have had every color of hair searching for the real me. Right now my hair is black with red highlights. I think it’s throwing me off.
  • (58:40) I have fine hair and am still trying to find that balance with enough product along with the right product to give my hair more texture without getting too greasy or leaving too much residue. Any suggestions? T3
  • (1:05:36) Do all the DYT hair products play well with each other, or do some combinations not work as well?
