  1. I love these type specific posts with make-up, accessories, and Colormania, and I really like that now LifeStyle shows the type specific for all the types. As a mom, it helps me shop for and dress my children in clothing and accessories that are true to and honor who they are, and eliminated returns for things they just didn’t like and I couldn’t understand why!! I kept buying my Type4 daughter cute jeans with white whiskering and white worn thighs and she really didn’t like them. She wanted clean and simple (plain and boring to me) dark wash jeans, or white, or pure hue colors.

I noticed with this round of four type content, even the pause/play button, time bar, and volume block were colored type specific for each types video. The bright happy blue in this Type1 caught my eye and I had to check the others, and noticed a dusty rose for Type2, a burnt orange for Type3 and white for Type4. Well done DYT website people.

  2. Oh my goodness! So cute! what kind of nail polish are you using? It’s so beautiful! Love it! Thanks so much for teaching us how to do the bright Type 1 Eyes!

  3. I’m still new to DYT and I’m still struggling with which Type I am. I thought I was a Type 1 with a Type 4 secondary, like Jaleah, but the colors she’s using in this tutorial always make me look ill. 🙁

  4. this is a terrific tutorial! I grew up with the light brow, dark crease, lighter lid combo from the 70’s and your explanation of the browbone color and the pops of color made great sense and look great. and THANKS for explaining what the heck all those darn brushes do.

  5. Please tell us the colors of the eye shadows you used!! I adore this look and would love to purchase right now. 🙂

  6. Every time I use eye make-up, my eyes water and get a little red. I have tried several different brands. Do you know if people with sensitive eyes do well with your products?

    1. Brown or blue always, just like in clothing. If the mascara is navy you can’t even tell you’re not wearing black, and the affect is much brighter and better for our smiling eyes 🙂
