  1. Thank you so much Nicole for this information! As a T2 with short hair I’m really interested in learning more about styling my hair without incorporating too much stillness or structure. I’d love to see a similar video featuring pixie cuts for different types!

  2. Thanks for this video Nicole! Now I know what is the right bob for me. Could you add these cuts to the gallery? It will be easier to show the one I want to my stylist .

    1. Because of copyright issues, we are trying to figure out how we can add them to the gallery, legally. However, in the meantime, you can take a screen shot of the video and have that photo for yourself for your next hair appointment:)

  3. This was awesome! I’m a 1 with a 4 or 2 secondary. And can see how I flip between the smooth blunt vs the blended blow out depending on how I feel for the day. Will you be doing bobs for 1’s & 3’s also????

  6. Nicole, I really like the the third Type 2 bob style (reddish auburn hair), but my hair has a tendency to flatten easily and also frizz in the summer (I’m going gray) at the same time. I’m wondering how I would style it?

    1. I would suggest some good Root Boost and Weightless Styling Mousse in the crown area. Then, use some hot rollers or Velcro rollers to style. I have a tutorial on how to use these products and a Velcro Roller tutorial as well:) You can do it!

  7. I have curly hair and wear my bob longer in the front but with kind of an angled blunt cut . I think the curls soften it enough even thought it’s blunt? What do you think?

    1. A general rule of thumb: you’ll want to make sure that out of: color, cut and style- you have 2 of the 3 that are true to your dominant type. Then, one of these can come in to play as your secondary nature:) Hope this is helpful!

  8. Is Scarlett Johansson type 4? or do you just pick celebrities from their hairstyle, or both their type + hairstyle?

    1. I paid no attention to the actresses/women and what their types were:) I used photos that would best help me show the concepts I was teaching:)

  9. I can’t find the image of the side swept blond bob from Type 2..Image 2…..The link doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
