Have you ever seen another Type 4 in a lime green & navy combination, but didn’t know if you could pull it off yourself?
Kalista used to share your hesitation, but watch how she has embraced this combo—and done so exquisitely, we might add!

I love that color combo. Thanks, Kalista!
I LOVE navy- the really dark one that is T4. It looks better on me than black. I am like a gun dog- hunting down the darkest navy clothes everywhere!
Also, thanks for showing clearly which secondaries you were demonstrating in the outfits. I’m still wondering what mine is…
Whoa! Love the color combo – wouldn’t have even thought about it; thanks for the new ideas! I personally like to go orange-darkcobaltblue because they’re complete opposites and it really makes a statement 😉
I have a structured turquoise jacket that I wear with an orange blouse. I get so many compliments when I wear this combination.
Linda, last summer I just wore what I wanted and when Fall came, I looked at what I wore frequently. I was surprised by the results. Things I was drawn to and purchased were rarely among those, like the soft, flowy styles but I found I love wearing the proper scale (for me) floral, and lots of texture although I thought I preferred smooth. My favorites to wear at home were stripes which I’ve never worn. Thought you may like experimenting like this. It’s -lol-what goes through the wash the most v what hangs in the closet. You will see a pattern even if you just look back over these recent months.
Thank you for the inspiration! I love the color combination and would have never worn it before DYT.

This series is absolutely perfect. Thank you for combining these lessons. It has given me the missing details to my big picture.
Kalista! I was just watching an old rerun of Wonder Woman and realized you remind me of a young Linda Carter. Even your mannerisms and the way you talk. Anyway, just had to tell you lol
How funny because this combination has become my recent favorite this past month.
DYT has opened my eyes to wearing colors I never would have considered. The lime top and the jacket are fabulous. My first order was a dress I thought was black, but is the type 4 darkest navy. I never knew choosing the almost black navy would be such an excellent choice for me. Combining these colors would never have occurred to me. Stuck in a rut, I found DYT, thinking I needed to accessorize, wear scarves and costume jewelry, but after a period of playing around came full circle to see that I’d been doing what was right for me all along. I am glad to see info on secondaries, but wonder if anything is purely type 4.
