  1. AMAZING! This simple, one item switch so very clearly shows the difference of leading with yang versus too much yin. Very helpful.

  2. Hallelujah!!! It is here!!! The 1/4 video is so easie peasie to understand my yang, yin, yin, yang factor in my OOTD!! I am so excited to play with this new concept in my everyday fun outfits!!! Thanks Carol and Jaleah for this invaluable video.

  3. This will help so much! Many times I have not been able to figure out just what was missing…or why I wasn’t ‘feeling it’ when I KNEW it was a type 1 outfit….I’ve been underserving my YANG. THANKS for the great info!!!

  4. Great video! As a fellow 1/4 I would wear both of those outfits. And as a Canadian, I love the “double double” comment. That’s a well-known expression here in Canada: it means two creams and two sugars in your coffee at a beloved national coffee chain. I’ll take a double double with those outfits please!

    1. Here it’s with In-n-Out, a fast food chain that makes double double cheeseburgers, double the meat, double the cheese!

  5. I love this video!!! The second outfit I would wear just like that! Looks great! The first outfit would be too restless for me… That shows me that I am a 1/2 and not a 1/4… My preference for S4 surely comes from the fact that for a long time I thought I was a T4.

    1. I agree Lukretia. This confirmed my 1/2. I really liked the first outfit and decided, while that second outfit was fine on Jaleah, it was too much for me. Interestingly, the energy of this video compared to the flow of the 1/2 video was very different. Really could be compared to the movement order in the 12 energy combo video. I too, thought I was initially a 1/4 but once I had an “aha” moment reading the list of T2 words in It’s Just My Nature I settled into and accepted my Yang Yin Yin Yin nature.

  6. I’m a 1/2. I read that some of the 1/2s below liked the first outfit but not the second. I actually liked the remodeled first outfit with the cardigan where they added a bit of yang, but the pattern with the shirt AND the jacket was too much for me. It seems my style is kind of in the middle of 1/2 and 1/4 with maybe a bit more yang than most 1/2s but not enough to be a 1/4. Maybe this is because 4 is my tertiary.

  7. Thank you for posting this video, so helpful! It’s Goldilocks time – initial outfit, too much yin, but one that I would typically wear and not feel fab in, not knowing why. Modified outfit two, too much yang for me, the stripes are out of scale with the flowered jacket. I could see mixing the super cute jacket with a smaller scale striped top. Outfit three, just right, and I would add some stretchy bracelets and a watch on my wrists for balance.

  8. I guess my aha is realizing that I already have a tendency to do some of the things Jaleah demonstrated in the video…like pushing up my sleeves, or rolling them up so that the shirt sleeve will show…and color-blocking with my shoes! I do this often and in the past have been taken to task for being too ‘matchy matchy’ but it has always felt right to me to do that whenever possible. All that said though, I do end up with outfits that have a little too much yin. Maybe I need more pattern and a couple lightweight jackets! (and a whole lot more shoes! LOL

Thanks for doing this series! it has been so helpful!
