A 40th Birthday #LiveMakeover!
Wow, Shandra looks amazing! The black really hid her face in the before. The tones she wore in the after segment really brought her face out. I could see her eyes and lovely skin tone and all her natural beauty. Watching her reaction to Jeleah reading the comments about her makeover made me so happy. Seeing a quiet confidence awaken in her. I hope she continues to keep those affirmations in her heart. She looks so beautiful inside and out!
This lovely makeover really brought out Shandra’s beautiful, gentle Type 2/1. She simply glows. So happy to see the transformation that allows us to see her truth in all her soft beauty.
Okay, true to my Type 1 nature… I am disconnecting (I haven’t watched the reveal yet) just so I can comment and ask Carol a question. 🙂
I am just LOVING Anne’s hair! My hair is in the growing out process, but I am wondering if her hairstyle with those darling highlights (and length, layers, etc) would work for me? I have got mildly curly/much wavy hair that I’ve been fighting with for years. I’ve already decided to grow it all out and just let “her” be the curly/wavy that she wants to be. But let me tell you, I am definitely “hair challenged” and would appreciate some direction in a style, cut, color. :))))

Hi Carol, no, I actually thought perhaps I was a Type 2… so I bought that course. It didn’t feel right so I put it all on hold…. I had confirmation from and a special Angel :)))) to embrace my Type 1 so I am waiting for my course to switch over. I already mailed back my course. 🙂

Alrighty…. reconnecting here in the comments. 🙂 I am just SO very happy for sweet Shandra! What a darling, soft woman. I just wanted to hug her. It made me tear up to see her sweet spirit gain some confidence right before my eyes. I so wanted to be there in the studio! What a joy for you Carol, to help other women. Oh, and Anne… I was so thrilled that you gave Shandra the makeup that you used on her. What a blessing! I’d love to see her husband’s (as well as children’s!) reaction to this beauty when she comes home to them.
And on a selfish note….. I so wish I could come and have a makeover too! What fun and knowledge I’d gain!

And….. one more thing. Forgive my many comments. 🙂 I just wanted to hop out there and say that I so wish I were there working with you, Carol and your wonderful team. What a positive and hopeful environment to work in! I feel a rise in my energy when I watch these makeovers. It’s just so very joyful to me! I’m filled with ideas and a desire to learn more so as to help more.
But, as a mama to 11 children (9 still living at home and my youngest is 4)…. I don’t see relocating as an option! 🙂

OMG Shandra is so beautiful! Everything is just right on her and wow her true beauty shines! The hair and waves are beautiful on her & really bring out her beauty. I couldn’t even tell she had makeup on. Also, I was so happy to see how happy she was. Congratulations! I’m so happy for her and everyone like her! What lucky women! From the makeovers I’ve seen I feel this is the most touching. Thank you so much Carol & DYT team for helping yet another soul. You are all amazing! I really really wish I could join your events & meet you in person & be one of those lucky women 🙂 I’ve actually had several dreams about meeting you & I can’t explain how happy I am in my dreams. Hi, you asked for ideas for stores in Europe/UK… have a look at Fat Face (lots of T2), Joules (T1 & T4), and White Stuff (T1 sometimes, mostly 2&3) as a few UK ones that would be good. Gap is over here and H&M is all over Europe so that would be good 🙂 xx
