  1. Wow Kate, you look awesome and so natural in your t3 style! Great episode with lots of insights I can use in my own life. Thank you Kate and Carol!

  2. Kate, you look great and naturally colourful in your new outfit. As for whether others will like you, what is not to like if you treat them well?:-) If some prefer to judge on appearance over character, they will make other poor choices for themselves based on that affliction.

  3. My daughter took an interest in DYT aged about 7 or 8. We thought she was a type 2 as she is so kind and sweet, but gradually we realised she is more structured, precise and exact. Also she looked dead in type 2 colours and alive in type 4 or 1 reds.

She is so cute though, so we came to the conclusion she is a type 4/1. Then looking at her baby photos, she has a very type 4 face and head shape, with a cute type 1 aspect. So now she wears type 4/1 clothes and looks great.

Her secondary school uniform is now royal blue, white and black, luckily! Her primary school uniform was navy and grey, which wasn’t very suitable for her type, but she looks wonderful in the new one.

So she is growing up without wondering who she is, what suits her, what sort of person is she etc. If she feels ugly (now aged 11 and getting teenage spots) I know what to do to make her look and feel better.

  4. really love watching this before & after video because i totally related to the fact that she didn’t know who she was and was looking to find herself through the different types b/c of how she was wounded growing up. I found it helpful to hear that – love the way she comes out naturally as who she is as Type 3 – there was no more hesitation but confidence – she really owned it. Happy for you, Karen!

  5. Well…. Kate congratulations on being the last live make over! You easily look 10 lbs lighter, taller and definitely more “badass” in your after. I hope you feel as fantastic as you look!

  6. You look amazing, Kate! In your before photo, you looked “resigned” to being a type 2. In your after photo, you look like you are in charge of who you are! Who wouldn’t immediately see that, and respect you for it?!

  7. I love, love, love, love this. (That’s a quadruple heart). Carol busted so many T3 stereotypes! Like Kate, I too have tried to find myself through EP instead of knowing myself and then seeing it represented in a type. Thanks everybody for this awesome live makover. I’m sad it’s the last one, but not too sad because Carol and Co. Only retire something to bring in something more amazing!

  8. She has the most AMAZING eyes! Also, can someone clarify why she’s not a Type 4? I trust Carol, yet I’m also seeing a lot of 4 in her (maybe it’s her strong secondary?).

    1. no, Carol said in her video that she’s a secondary 2. I think she has more a murkiness in her eyes and subtlety and emotionalism about her than if she had a secondary 4. That’s just my opinion anyway. I’m no expert.

  9. I would just love to see myself finally as clear as Kate did! After 3 and a half years I haven’t discovered and lived my true nature.

    1. I know we’re not supposed to tell someone what type they are so, I’ll just say watch the type 3 videos again! From your pic anyway, you have a defined chin, dynamic eyes, v’s in your cheeks. It couldn’t be more obvious

  10. Wow Kate, you look fantastic. This video changed a lot of me. I’ve had the course for years, and come back to it, but for some reason always second guess myself. Your vides made it a little bit clearer. I have a very similar face to yours (your eyes are more dramatic – gorgeous!) and these videos helped me settle into the fact that yes Type 3 is me. I kept thinking my face needed to be ‘more 3, to really be 3’. I too had childhood wounding, so I think that has a lot to do with it.
However, I need to figure out how my secondary – is it 2 or 4? Hmm.

    1. Good for you Alice – forget about the secondary and start practicing being your dominant energy, that is what’s most important.

  11. I personally don’t think the final look is her best. Yes her face looks great, but the shoes throw her off balance, lurching her bust forward. The jacket’s extra waves combined w very fitted pants and a short shirt lead to an exaggerated roundness in the torso, like an oval, which is not the best look for anyone really. Her face looks gorgeous and I love the patterns she chose, but I think differently cut garments would convey confidence and beauty much more. These hunched her shoulders and made her look drawn into herself rather than great outward type 3 strength & movement
