  1. I thought Type 1’s weren’t supposed to have hair past shoulder length? If this isn’t true, this makes me so happy. 🙂

      1. This contradicts info in the Type 1 course, as well as a recent post from Carol about the wrong hairstyle aging you.

        1. The suggestion is to keep the length about collar bone, only because that’s the easiest length to keep the Type 1 movement. However, you can wear it a bit longer, it will just take some extra effort to be sure the color/cut/style stay Type1:) Hope this is helpful:)

    1. I found the Hair Gallery on the last page (pg 8) under the hair tab. It seems to pull up just fine for me…but if it’s still not working for you, contact customer support: support@liveyourtruth.com. They’ll be happy to help you:)

  2. How would these hairstyles translate for curly hair? Would the type 1 wavy hair pic work for someone with curlier hair?

    1. Absolutley! It’s the same concept, same key words. But, with curly hair, there is already natural movement and texture in your natural curl, so it becomes that much easier to maintain a Type 1 style:)

  3. I’m so glad about these suggestions as I love long hair, always have. Would be welcome to see more suggestions.

  4. Hi Nicole,

What if you are Type 1 and have really short hair, but it’s just so darn thick it feels heavy and unmanageable all the time? I used to have hair to my waist and it felt like it had more animation and it was lighter then than my hair cut short! now! IT’S CRAZY! I don’t want a pixie-cut (I think that would look terrible on me), but I just feel completely stuck at what to do with my hair. It also grows-out crazy fast and I’m trying to finish college so I don’t have money to see a stylist every two weeks when my hair grows out. What in the world can I do? I am a 1/4
