  1. Love the Color/style of 2 luggage pieces… Would you share brand name and size of carry on, Sarah?

    1. Hello Claudette, thank you for your question. Sarah’s luggage is made by Samsonite and is in their berry color. This is the largest carry-on size available in this model.

  2. I would also love to know the brand of your luggage! And for the record, I don’t like ironing either. 😉

    1. Hi Erica, thank you for your question. Sarah’s bag is made by Samsonite and is in their berry color.

  3. Sarah, where did you get your awesome luggage? I have a black set that I’ve been wanting to replace. I love the pockets and pouches in yours and the side and top handles. TIA.

    1. Hi Christine, thank you for your question. Sarah’s bag is made by Samsonite and is in their berry color.

  4. I absolutely hate packing and I am not sure why. I don’t mind unpacking at all but hate packing. I already pack using many of your tips. It is usually the jewelry I hate packing the most. I find even though in my mind I have figured out what I am taking, I just hate the actual packing and put it off till the last minute. Do others experience this?

    1. I would say that there have been times that I hate packing and yes jewelry can be so daunting. For me it is the thought of planning out every outfit that drives me bananas!! I think for me I try to grab things that can mix and match so that I don’t feel locked into a plan. Also with jewelry, I try and pack items that are simple and go with a lot so again there isnt some big daunting plan that I have to think out. 🙂

  5. to echo, where did you get the case? Roll everything!!! Rolling properly eliminates wrinkling!

  6. Lol, I don’t despise ironing but I buy clothes that don’t require it…heck, I buy clothes that in general can all be washed together and on the “express” settings (who would use any other setting if you can get it ‘express’? Lol.)
My tip for pleasurable ironing is once a month ironing party: gather everything that may need it for the next month, get your Netflix ready for a binge, and even invite girlfriends who also need to iron and have a party!

  7. I hate ironing too! What a waste of time! Curious about what kind of purse you take when you travel. That is always hard for me to figure out. Also, do you pack your purse in your small carry on bag or luggage?

    1. Hi Sasha! I like to take a small handbag that is just big enough to fit my wallet, boarding pass, and phone. I can easily slide it in and out of my small carry on that I keep at my feet on the plane.

  8. I already have the toiletries bag ready to go under my sink! Just like Sarah! Also, after losing luggage and spending the night in San Antonio, I now carry PJs and toiletries in my carry on – just in case!
One thing my husband and I did, because he travels frequently, is we actually paid for CLEAR and TSA Pre-check, which gets us through the lines more swiftly — works especially well with adults! Kids, unfortunately, still need extra screening if you are taking a stroller and any form of milk on board the plane.

    1. LOVE this tip!! YES paying for the TSA pre-check is one of the best things we ever did!! I totally forgot to mention that.

    1. Hi Rachelle! I got my hat from a surf shop in Hawaii last winter. It is made by Billabong. I bet you could find it online!

  9. I pack very similarly! A trick I didn’t see is I like to wrap each shoe in a plastic bag (I do still stuff the shoes like Sarah!) so dirt doesn’t get on anything. I use the plastic bag to keep dirty clothes and shoes separate on the way home.

  10. Oh, I also have an empty water bottle so I can fill it up at the water fountain after I go through security since water is so expensive at the airport.
