I love surrounding myself with beautiful and substantial pieces.
Notice my rich, dynamic colors and textures, especially with all the rocks inside and out! You’ll see family heirlooms along with amazing artifacts I’ve curated from my world travels.

Plus, true to my Type 3 nature, I like to stay connected to the outdoors even when I’m inside. Check out the creative ways we’ve done that.

I don’t collect antiques, but do love to collect & use decor from the 50s-70s items. They have so much character, and warmth to them and sooo much functionality to them. My mom hates my decor and always rolls her eyes when i find a new vintage item. She just can’t understand why I love decor that she disliked as a kid.
I do love to also mix modern day materials that have a minimal light feel to them. I would totally mix my vintage canisters and appliances with Jaleahs’ new white countertop in her Type 1 house tour, but with a painted backsplash.
I love Carol’s home! And her mission to clean up the mess of the fashion world. That view really is awe inspiring <3
Wonderful, I recognize that I have a lot of 3 things in my home as well, I moved to a small town built on a small mountain, with a castle built on the very rocky top of that mountain. Whenever I go walking I enjoy the beautiful view from my side of the mountain. Feel so good here! I too need to have windows open to greens, outside etc.
Carol, you are such an amazingly talented woman! All you have done that is so rare nowadays and/or lost talents. My mother was also talented like that and I miss her so much. I’m loving all your videos, keep up your great work.
Carol, I have watched this video many times and never tire of looking around your home. Every item has meaning and memories, such a wonderful atmosphere. The views are spectacular, garden incredible furnishing perfect. I could move in tomorrow!

When Carol told us to meditate and breathe while looking at the view, I felt a lot of emotion. So cool! Also LOVE the idea that a water feature can help get the energy moving when things feel stagnant. I am going to implement this in my home. I love seeing other people’s houses and this was a wonderful treat!!!
