How to Add Your Yin & Yang Combo Into Your Type 3/1 Style

Where are you still holding back?

“You have a lot of movement-express that in your style!”

You lead with a rich, dynamic, and active energy—while your secondary Type 1 lightens your movement with a bright and fresh quality.

Because of your yin/yang combination, you can personalize your substantial Type 3 look by adding in your fun and animated secondary. Anna K, Type 3/1, is a great example of this. She looks good in her first outfit. It’s got all the 5 elements—but she knows she can handle even more animation and movement.

This is true for you too! Switching out just one item can bring out even more of your fiery and fun nature. As Anna K and Carol say, “Get ‘er done and have some fun!”

  1. Completely hot! Git’er done with some fun for sure! And if I saw you in the grocery store like this AK I would not think too much — I would think WOWZER!

  2. I love this and connect with the information, but I’d really love to hear more about how to bring my 3/1 yin-yang style during the summer in Florida heat. (No layers.) Thanks! <3

  3. I just found the reason why some of the 2/3 tops I bought feel wrong. I am not adding enough zing near my face to go along with the zing in the pattern. No more tiny necklaces with a 2/3 pattern! It doesn’t work.

  4. Could anyone please answer a couple of questions for me?

Why is 3/1 a higher movement than 1/3? (I thought 1 was the highest movement.)

And… Is 1 more yang or more yin than 4?

    1. Joan, this is Kathy from Carol’s support team. Please watch the other yin/yang video’s that are posted above to find the answers that you are seeking. Thank you!

      1. Thank you Kathy!

I’ve watched them and it seems like she’s implying 1 is more yang because it moves outward first – is that right?

I haven’t found anything on whether 1 or 3 is a higher movement – she says in the books that it’s 1, but she says 3/1 is highest both here and in the ‘How to live true to your 1/3 or 3/1’ video.

Could anyone please give me more of a clue?

        1. It just occurred to me that if you think of it in terms of states of matter, 3 should be higher because the molecules in fire (plasma) move faster than the molecules in air (gas)!

        2. Hi,

I know that you’re all very busy creating wonderful content for us, and from your perspective it must seem that I’m simply not bothering to find info that’s clearly laid out on the website. But for whatever reason, I really haven’t understood the answers to these questions, even after watching all the videos you recommended.

Would you be willing to tell me:

why 3/1 is a higher movement than 1/3 when the books say 1 is the highest movement?

whether 1 or 4 is more yang?

          Thank you!
